The Balance Ranks Connexus as Nation’s ‘Best Credit Union for Using Any ATM’

After analyzing and comparing credit unions across the country, The Balance named Connexus as 2020’s “Best Credit Union for Using Any ATM.”

Thanks to our wide-ranging ATM network, members of Connexus have access to surcharge-free ATMs all across the country.

“Most big banks charge you a fee to use another bank’s ATM, plus you may have to pay a fee to that bank,” The Balance wrote. “At Connexus, not only are you able to use 54,000 ATMs fee-free in the Co-Op and MoneyPass networks, Connexus will reimburse up to $25 per month in other bank’s ATM fees if you hold the Xtraordinary Checking account.”

The high yields offered by our checking accounts were another factor in the ranking, as The Balance called our Xtraordinary account a “top-level checking account, no matter how you look at it.”

The Balance even praised our interest rates on Auto Loans and Mortgages. In fact, since our rates are so competitive, The Balance suggested “you may want to bring your other banking here as well to keep things simple and under one roof.”
